Working with

ADHD

Whether you have a diagnosis of inattentive, impulsive and hyperactive or combined ADHD you will probably be experiencing a number of challenges in the work place which are impacting your ability to perform at your best,  deliver work on time or progress on you chosen career path.

We will work together to raise your self-awareness about what you need and develop strategies for you to realise your potential. Though structured 1:1 one hour virtual coaching sessions we will identify and work on coping strategies to help you utilise your strengths and mitigate or overcome some of the challenges you might be facing.

These may include:

  • Recognise the coping strategies you have, why they work and identify those that are not serving you

  • Identify internal and external distractions that reduce your focus, concentration and productivity

  • Procrastination – causes and solutions

  • Boredom / restlessness

  • Too much or too little routine

  • Executive function – planning prioritising, managing time

  • Getting started or switching tasks

  • Organisation - notes and record keeping

  • Decision making

  • Communicating your ideas and thought processes

  • Sensory overload

  • Manging anxiety and energy

  • Self – advocacy for adjustments that will help such as delegation and feedback

I used to have great difficulty organising my work, and ensuring that I prioritised effectively. Ros has given me the confidence to communicate these issues to my manager, and helped me develop strategies to improve my organisation.
